We live for the moments

He kissed me in the middle of the night. Or I kissed him. I don’t really remember. The memory is hazy as both of us were a little intoxicated. That hazy memory doesn’t fade the intensity of that kiss, the intimacy, the passion and the subtlety. I can still feel all of it when I think about it. I don’t know if I want it to happen again. Maybe I don’t. We don’t talk about. We were never able to. But in that moment, when we had each other at our most gullible, the memory, the intimacy still stays.
