Cos time has wrapped moments around
So that they look shinny & profound.

Despite your devil asking you
To nothing but otherwise ,
Love will fill your chalice in right time.

Let me hold your heart in my words
And make a poem from old rose
That you have hidden in pages of your soul
Fearing that it would get spoilt by touch!

I thought you are “home”
This time you might want to
I weaved strings of hope
In anticipation, my heart raced.
You called to hear my voice
Cos it helped you sleep
While in another woman’s arms,
I knew it , yet did not resist
Happy being yours for that moment.
And you did not hang up
Cos you dozed off hearing my breath
Which i was counting at your mercy
And then the night slipped into
Dawn’s arms as if changing sides.

Cos I might visit you again,
In the stealth of nights
When borrowed hours are gone,
We shall meet at the other end
Find me there where we played.
How will you forget my deceit,
And see me through my eyes ?
Will you love me unfiltered
And ask me no questions?
Each warm breath from you
Will remind me of how loved I can feel.
Can you steal away my soul this time
And not let it wander in vacuum ?
Let us talk about stars
The cup of strong coffee that thrilled us
Let us talk about clouds
The stroll around old banyan tree of creation,
Where we dreamt of universe that lived within
To spread a pinch of star dust
In our trail, for other lost souls like us.

Its good to know
I can walk with no need of support
Looks like i had forgotten
How to - merely a habit.
The air is no more usual
It smells different
A pinch of freshness
I believed it would never come.
I happened to hold
The treasure of love & happiness
Yet was looking for it
Always in far away land.

Is something we forget in race of life.
Aiming high , reaching new skies
Could be a thing that only when

Looked pretty yet melancholic
They had your love wrapped in them
Also your deception tied onto dreams,
That which we saw together
While gathering shinny rocks from wild.
You said it would look beautiful
It will be our heaven , dream meeting real
You said it would make things warm
It will fill our hearts with joyful laughter.
Alas! I saw only empty living room
No upturned world , that would smell new
I saw you drifting away to another world
Yes it did change my whole life .
