Tempest-tossed, shaken,
The mighty oak,
Once towering, crumbled.-
Shadows moaned, crept closer,
whispers grew louder,
breath gripped my neck.-
With dawn, the world spun,
Loads to be done,
Thoughts on a marathon,
Night dawned, I yawned, bolting out the imp of procrastination.-
Caught mid-air it falls,
A lone petal drifts with light,
Fading with the sun.-
2025
As the river of time flows into the uncharted ocean of a new year, let us pause at the shores of gratitude—for the tranquil pools of joy we've waded through, the rapids of challenges that strengthened us, and the endless horizon of hope that invites us to sail forward with courage and grace.-
Adieu
I tried to hold on to parts of you,
But you rushed ahead,
And scarce took heed.
You slip too fast; I see the grains,
The glass grows clear, no more remains.
An anxious soul stands at the door,
A new year’s breath, the future’s shore.
Come close, let me hug you tight,
One last embrace before midnight.

of happiness as inbuilt.
True happiness doesn't seek validation; it simply is. It’s a gentle reminder that while life may pull us in many directions, the power to remain joyful rests in recognizing the abundance within ourselves. What we nurture within, we radiate outward, making happiness not just a feeling but a state of being.-
