मन में अल्फाजों की कश्ती कुछ यूं चली,
मानो तीर चला कर हवा का रूख़ मोड़ गई।
वो खामोशी भरे लम्हे अक्सर हकीकत छुपाते गए,
इन गहरी सोचों के अंधेरों में कई रास्ते खो गए।

वक़्त की देहलीज़ ने मुझको बहुत कुछ सिखाया,
 थम्ना भी सिखाया, चलना भी सिखाया,
 गिर कर फिर से उठना भी सिखाया,
 नया सफर तय करना भी सिखाया, 
 हर राह पर  मुडना कैसे भी बताया,
 दिल की नैया में गोता लगाना भी सिखाया,
 भावनाओ में बहना भी सिखाया,
 फिर वापिस पलट कर संभलना भी सिखाया,
 मन की हर बात को सुनना भी सिखाया, चुनना भी सिखाया,
 हर पड़ाव पर मिलना भी सिखाया, बिछड़ना भी सिखाया,
 जिंदगी की राह में हर पल मेरे साथ चला मेरी परछाई की तराह,
 मेरा साथी वक़्त मुझे सिखाता गया, समझाता गया,
पग पग पर हाथ थामे भीड़ में,तन्हाई में साथ चलता गया,
जिंदगी के सफर में हर कदम, एक नई सीख देता गया,
जीवन पर्यन्त मेरा साथ निभाया,
वास्तव में मेरा सच्चा हमराही वक़्त ही कहलाया।

In an astral haven, with a view so wide,
A Dove duet they flit and glide,
Feeding seeds in their sacred place.
A gentle dance, a whispered glance,
As hearts entwine in tender trance.
Children's laughter, dreams that soar,
As paths ahead hold something more.
Lost in dreams of paths ahead,
While life plays on, unspoken, spread
From there they parted, each to their way,
Their paths diverge, as night meets day.

A monsoon's gift, divine and bright,
Led them to a box of satellite lights.
A second meeting, sacred, true,
In twilight grove, their paths renew.
What was forgotten, lost behind,
It is now reclaimed, their paths aligned.
Beneath the rain, the drizzled reign,
A shift in course, they rise again.
Silence stretches, odd ones remain.

हैरत में वह टटोल रहा अपना अंतर्मन ,
मृगतृष्णा सी आस लगाए खोज रहा वो पल ,
अतीत को ढुंढ रहा आज को पाने की आस में,
वहां जाकर भी टकराया कल की तलाश में,
जहां क्षण भर रुका और फिर लोट आया , 
अपने सिलसिला ए जज्बात के एहसास से,
वक्त के पहलू में बंधा इक परिंदा वापिस उड़ चला,
आगाज़ के खुले आसमान से अपने नये सफर की शुरुआत में।।
