It never occurred to me that forever could be such a short time.

My Maiden voyage
A miracle at work
With shore at sight
A scenic journey
As time flew by
Tempest after tempest
Loss after loss
No shore at sight
Still in the eye of the storm
Now just a plank
Slowly drifting towards
The cold dark unknown.

Sunrise is the most beautiful lie one can ever witness.

Whilst nilgiri rustle
Filling the air
With it's fresh minty aroma
And the rain tree
Playing a skillful tune
Orchestrated by the west wind
As the street light
Grace the open terrace
One can lay in that worn out mat
All along
The heart whispering
In distant echo
Let it be.

Freedom is not a mere word
And truth refuses to hide
A world where justice is just
And where promises are kept
A world where humanity thrives
And dreams are built.

Not a night pass by
Without me contemplating
My final moments
Never a tear graced my cheek
For the impending departure
Isn't life just about it
A fading rainbow
I beleive every sunrise I witness
A miracle
For I never set my hope for the dawn.

It pains
To turn blind eye
To the vices;
It burns
To see the meek
Go voiceless;
It torments
To see injustice
Prevail over right;
It kills
To walk away
From justice.
It's high time
To see
To voice out
To bring justice
To light.

Turns out hope is a barbed wire the longer you hold on the more you bleed out.

Everyday I pass by the graveyard
And like clockwork
Every night I witness ambulance
At those moments
I completely swell up
For my heart drops
For I know the state of the one's left behind
For I know the pain they bear
For I know the tears they shed
For I know the cost of love.
