Tons of problems in life are actually consequences of our decisions taken on the basis of short-term goals. We always say it's better to split our big goals into smaller ones and achieve them. Do we take a global perspective of our main, bigger goal after achieving each smaller goal? We run fast and directly jump on the next one. We try to achieve more in less time and end up with more problems. Instead, if we keep looking at the global perspective regularly, it will help us to control our flow and move in the right direction with the fewest possible problems. I call this connecting the dots to make a portrait!
