കൂട്ടിരിക്കാനായി സമയാസമയം വെള്ളോം,വറ്റും
കൂട്ടിലിട്ടു കൊടുത്തിട്ടും കൊത്തുകൂടിയവ...
കൂടുണ്ട്, കെട്ടുകളില്ലാത്തൊരു കൂട്ടുണ്ട്..
കൂടിനുള്ളിലൊരുലോകം വരച്ചിട്ട്..
കൂടിനുള്ളിലിരുന്നു കുടപിടിക്കുന്നൊരു കൂട്ട്...

വിശപ്പുവിളിച്ചപ്പോൾ വിയർപ്പിറ്റിച്ചും,
വിയർപ്പിറ്റിച്ച് വിശപ്പിനെനനയിച്ചും,
വിഹിതത്തിനായി വിതച്ചും വീതംവച്ചും,
വിത്തും, വിത്തവും വിളഞ്ഞു മണ്ണിലെന്നും..!
വിരഹത്തിൻ മണം നെഞ്ചിലോളിപ്പിച്ച്,
വരണ്ടുണങ്ങി; വർഷത്തിൽ പുതുമണം പടർത്തിയും,
വിടാത്ത ചെളിയും ചാർത്തി കുതിർന്നും,
വിളവറിയാ, ജീവിതമോതി മണ്ണെന്നും..!
വറ്റാത്ത വാത്സല്യപ്പാലൂട്ടി വളർത്തി,
വിണ്ണോളമുയർന്നു മക്കളെല്ലാം.
വേരെന്നും നന്മയിലാഴ്ത്തിയതാവാം,
വിടർന്നു നന്മയും മണ്ണിലെങ്ങും..!
വിവശയാണിന്ന്, ഞാനോ നീയോ?
വിശ്രമമാ നെഞ്ചിനുള്ളിലാണ്.
വേണ്ടതോ വേണ്ടാത്തതോ? ഒടുക്കമെന്നുമവിടെയാണ്.
വിധിയും, വേദവും, വേദാന്തവും
വ്യക്തമായോതിയിരുന്നു മണ്ണെന്നും..!-
ഓര്‍ക്കുവാൻ തന്നെയാണ് ഓരോ ക്ഷണവും ജീവിക്കുന്നത്, ഓർമ്മിക്കപ്പെടാനും.. ഇന്നിന്റെ സ്മരണകൾ ഓര്‍ത്തു വെക്കണം..വല്ലപ്പോഴും ഒന്ന് ചിരിക്കാന്‍, നെടുവീര്‍പ്പിടാൻ..!

മണ്ണ് സുഗന്ധം പടർത്തി,
കൊയ്തൊഴിഞ്ഞ പാടങ്ങളിൽ
കളിപ്പന്ത് കളിക്കവേ, കുട്ടികൾ കുരവയിട്ടു!!
ആ ശുഭ മുഹൂര്‍ത്തിൽ
മലമേലെ ഒരു കുറ്റിക്കാട്ടിൽ
വീണ്ടും ഒരു കുറുക്കൻ വേളി കഴിച്ചു.-
On the terrace,
on a full moon night,
She moved her fingers
in the air pointing the sky.
She weived the shining dots,
She generated constellations,
She explored the hidden hare!

Amazed at her art,
The moon stayed still,
with a tranquil gaze.
