We kissed, we hugged, we snuggled tight,
Shared our thoughts through the night.
Moments priceless, hearts did sway,
In each other's arms, till the break of day.

We shared our thoughts, moments so rare,
In her company, I felt no despair.
I wanted to tell her my feelings so strong,
But feared losing her if things went wrong.

She’s the best, more than I deserve,
A gem so precious, if only she knew her worth.

One evening out, I lost my way,
With a girl so cute, in a quaint café.
No high hopes, just a simple date,
But drinks were had, and it got late.

We hailed a cab, off to a place,
A cozy hotel, a private space.
How romance sparked, I couldn't say,
But there we were, in a sweet ballet.

This world works on a system ,
Set by some ancestor’s wisdom.
Worth of a man is Money in any form,
and of woman’s her beauty and uniform.
We were born in this world, I guess, to be happy,
But end up being scrappy .
Because purity isn’t enough to achieve anything here,
On table , your worth is only thing defining there.
Now , when half way there, I discovered this fact ,
Let’s see whom we attract .
Does this time the soul wins ,
Or Unworthy still proves to be a sin !! 🙂

Don’t Scratch me ,
Or the blunder within this skin
Can make you cry.

So make me cry, for it's all I know,
In this somber symphony, my spirits low.
I'll wallow in sadness, let my emotions flow,
For happiness eludes me, as I reap what I sow.

In the depths of sorrow, I've lost my way,
Each teardrop falls, a price to pay.
My soul is tainted by life's cruel display,
I'm a mere shadow of myself, in disarray.

With heavy heart, I stumble through the night,
Seeking solace in the absence of light.
The weight of my past, a relentless fight,
I'm trapped in a darkness that feels so right.

As tears stream down, my hope does decay,
In this desolate world, I've chosen to stay.
A mournful existence, day after day,
I'm drowning in despair, with no escape.

Make me cry, I forgot the way,
To cleanse my soul, come what may.
I am toxicated with everything came my way,
Not anymore that person , I am faraway.

But in these tears, I'll seek my truth,
Reclaim the innocence of my youth.
Let the drops fall, wash my fears,
Guide me back to who I was in earlier years.

In vulnerability, I will find the key,
To unlock the person I used to be.
Make me cry, for it's the start,
Of finding healing for my heart.

There's more to this life than meets the eye,
I didn’t know my hopes could die.
I am walking life , step after step,
Loosing my atomic hope in god with every step.
Still walking , for the sake of my seed’s breath,
Waiting for a day when god do the needful math.

But I realise, just like a sapling newly born,
I have the potential to weather any storm.
But with each passing day, I am afraid to give up,
Loosing strength and wisdom, ready to Destruct.

For a sapling cannot be expected to provide,
Shade and shelter when it's just beginning to thrive.
It needs time to root deep and spread its branches wide,
And in due course, become a tree with pride.

Sometimes I think … Why me ?
I am just a Sapling … not a tree.

A seed is sown with care and gentle hand,
Given time and nourishment to expand.
So, too, I need patience, space and belief,
To grow and achieve, to find my own relief.
