Now the gaze into those eyes
feels a few seconds too less,
and the conversations with you,
a few minutes too short!
Now the time spent with you
is few hours too less,
and a lifetime with you,
a few decades too short!!
For I will let you have the
first sip of my morning coffee,
For I will let you talk
through my favourite movie!
Coz for you, I won't mind losing my sleep over again,
Coz for you, I will redo this life over again!!

Exploring the unknown,
embracing the uncertain,
charting the unexplored,
that's how we measure our capabilities and push our boundaries!!
But when the times are tough,
and things don't seem to go our way,
we tend to find peace and solace
in our knowns only,
known people, known places,
known emotions, known haven!!

What are broken things,
if not an imperfect amalgamation
of many unbroken things!!

फुर्सत के दो पल, सुकून का एक लम्हा चाहिए,
आसमान के चार तारे ही काफी हैं,
मुझे कौन सा चांद पूरा चाहिए!!

उन अनजान शहरों के समुद्रों, पहाड़ों और जंगलों में भी बस एक अधूरा ठहराव सा ही है,
असली सुकून तो कभी कभी अपने शहर के शोर में ही मिल जाता है!!

आज उस धूल लगी हुई किताब के पन्नों के बीच में
एक पुराने गुलाब का फूल मिला!!
पत्ते मुर्झा चुके थे, यादें आज भी ताजा थीं!!

There's some concealed emotions in my subconscious,
Some bottled up nostalgia and longingness,
A wishful thinking to return back to the time
where everything was exactly the way
I wanted them to be,
and I didn't have a shadow of a hint
of a sliver of doubt on anything!!
An imperfectly perfect little world -
lost somewhere in the limbo!
If only I can live it once more!!

अहसासों की किल्लत
से बहुत रिश्ते अधूरे ही रह गए!
होश जब तक सम्भाला हमने,
देर बहुत हो गई थी!

I saw you standing beside me,
and I saw my destiny;
the culmination of my journey,
the end of my struggles,
the warmth of your hug,
the cold breeze through my hair,
the fulfillment of my dream,
the witness of your magic
and the '.. happily ever after' to our story!!
But tell me, when this rainbow and sun
will become shallow and none,
will we still be standing
strong and together as one??

Everything seemed within my reach
when I was younger,
as if I can reach out
and grab the moon for myself!!
The stars seemed brighter,
the rain felt heavier,
the sky looked closer!!
Have things changed lately,
or just is it just my perception
that's been altered?
Has my love changed lately,
or is it just the idea of my love
that's been modified?
