मेरी "मैं" के तुम अभिमान, मन मे "दीपक" सा रख दो।
चरण रज में कुंज सा शोभित, हृदय में हे प्रभु अपने घर दो।।

हम जागे जाते, गम को गले लगाकर, जाने कौन
चाहते थे खवाबो में आये, सब भुलाकर, भटके कौन
यादें बिखरती अब, अलख सी जगाकर, समेटे कौन,
आबरु सा सिमटे ,गये तन्हाई सा मिलकर, दर्द बांटे कौन,
झंकार सी झकझोर और बिन तान है दिल, हम हैं मौन।

Neither allow someone to put shame
When you are down and dusted
You will inevitably get unwanted fame.
Knowns mock,unknowns will pity
You will be alone in the crowded city
Remember the inner soul can't be crusted

जगमगाती रात है, फिर भी देखो दिलो में अंधेरा।
रंगीन बिजलियों मे हर कोई ढूंढता सवेरा।
मदहोश होकर मैखाने में, खोजते सुकून का पहर।
जिंदगी ठहरी हुई, फिर भी भाता कहर का शहर।
दो कमरे मे फैला संसार जिसे कहते ये बसेरा।
"दीपक" दिलों का मेल नहीं, है मोल यहां।
सब स्वार्थ का साथी, कोई नही है तेरा।

था तन्हा सा सूकून आंखों में
ख्वाब में होते थे, जो वो रोज संग मेरे।
झलक चांद सी ,कभी होते बादल सा ओझल
हम जब तकते थे, उनको शाम सुबेरे।
जाने कहां मै उनके चेहरे पे,
इक नया नया इकरार पढ आया।
अब नींद जागती है, दिल की बेचैनी सी
जो उनको भी हमपे प्यार आया।।

कुछ ख्वाहिशें बाकी ,अभी कुछ अरमान‌ अधूरे हैं,
जंग जारी है खुद की रात से, गवाह सितारें है।
हसीं हसरतें मिल गयी, ऐ "दीपक" भंवर में अगर,
