এই মুঠো বৃষ্টি চেয়েছি ...

মেঘেরা যখন ঝেঁপে আসে জানালায় ,
তখন তোমাকে দেখি যে একঝলক,
ঝলক মানেই অমোঘ অভিজ্ঞান,
তোমার দিকেই যাওয়ার দিকফলক।
আমি তো কেবল তোমার দিকেই যাই
বাতাস আমাকে নেয় যে অন্য দিকে।
এরই মাঝে চলে আষাঢ়ের কারসাজি
হয়ে যাও তুমি ক্রমেই ঝাপসা, ফিকে।

প্রতিবারই ঠিক করে নিই দিক-দিশা
বেহায়া বাতাস কেবলা ঘুরিয়ে দেয়।
যতবারই আমি চেষ্টা করি না কেন
বাতাস আমাকে অন্য দিকেই নেয়।
ফিকে হতে হতে মুছে যাও পুরোপুরি
তখন তোমার পাই না কোনোই দিশা
মেঘমসলিনে ঢেকে যায় অবয়ব
এই আষাঢ়েও বাড়ে চাতকের তৃষা।

পঁচাত্তরের স্বাধীনতা 🇮🇳


স্বাধীন দেশের জন্মলগ্নে চঞ্চল হয় চিত্ত,
এ দিবসে সকলের মন খুশিতে উচ্ছ্বসিত !
আমার ভারত হয়েছিল স্বাধীন,
শত শত মুক্তিযোদ্ধার আত্মবলিদান স্মরনে এই দিন।

দেশব্যাপী খুশিতে পাগল, ঘরে ঘরে ওড়ায় জাতীয় পতাকা
স্বাধীন দেশের নাগরিকবোধে মনেতে খুশির রেখা,
দুইশত সাল ফিরিঙ্গীরা সব দেশটাকে নিয়েছে লুটে !
আজ আমার দেশ, আমার কথার মূল্য তো আছে বটে,
আজ আমরা স্বাধীন! স্বাধীন চিন্তা, স্বাধীন মূল্যবোধ
আমাদেরকেই করে যেতে হবে, মুক্তির ঋণ শোধ।

আজ আমরা খুশি স্বতন্ত্রতায়, খুশি নয় সব কাজে !
ভারত আমার এগিয়ে চলুক সাজুক নতুন সাজে ...
সচেতনতায়, আধুনিকতায়, জ্ঞানে আর প্রগতিতে ..
সততায় আর ন্যায়নিষ্ঠায় নাম হোক সারা পৃথিবীতে !
তাই আজ আমরা দৃপ্তকন্ঠে, জয়হিন্দ বলে ফেলি …
কত শহীদের রক্তে দেশের মুক্তি .. কি করে ভুলি!

জীবনে জোড়া কবি ...

এক বৈশাখ থেকে আর এক শ্রাবণ
একে একে জীবনের ধাপ মাপি,
জীবনের আলো মাখানো অনতিপরে
কত বসন্ত পরেও তোমার ছবি আঁকি,
চেতনায় আজও আছো জেগে!
ধরা দিয়েছো আমাদের দুরন্ত মনে,
ভুবন ভরা গানে গানে মেতে উঠি
জীবনের ছন্দ খুঁজে পাই প্রতি পলে
তুমি আমার ভোরের ফোঁটা রবি,
বর্ণে, গন্ধে, ছন্দে.. সকল স্রোতের
জীবন জোড়া কবি।

বারে বারে এঁকে যাই আলো আঁধারে
আমার তুমি কিশোর বেলার ছবি!
কতো কালো রাত কেটে গেছে হাহাকারে,
সে কথা হৃদয়ে বেজে ওঠে বার বার।
তবুও সময় থাকেনি থেমে তারপর
তোমার ক্যামেলিয়ায় ফুল ধরেছে
উজাড় করে বয়ে গেছে শত শত বসন্ত
চাঁপার বনে লুকোচুরির খেলার ছলে
জীবনের প্রথম কিরণের মতো করে
ধরে ফেলেছি তোমার আসল ছবি,
বর্ণে, গন্ধে, ছন্দে.. সকল স্রোতের
জীবন জোড়া কবি।

শীতল আলোর পথে..
আরোহণ করেছি আমি নারীর কোমল রথে।
এ দুনিয়ায় আগমনের পর দেখেছি নারীর মুখ,
যেখানে রয়েছে আমার প্রাণ এ দেহ, শান্তি, সুখ...
নারী সেতো মহা আনন্দ জীবন চলার কালে,
ভালবাসায় সিক্ত জীবন তারই ছায়া তলে।
পৃথিবীতে মহাস্বর্গ মহৎ কর্ম যত...
নারী ছাড়া অপূর্ণ সব ব্যর্থতার মত।

এ অচলায় এগিয়ে যেতে শিখিয়েছ তুমি নারী,
তার প্রেরণার রশ্মি ধরেই পথ চলিতে পারি..
বিন্দু থেকে সিন্ধুপানে, গৃহ থেকে ত্রিভূবনে,
উড়িয়েছে তার বিজয় নিশান
বার বার দিয়েছ নারী, নিজ যোগ্যতার প্রমাণ।
জননী হয়ে গড়েছো জীবন, রমনী হয়ে সাজাও
দৃষ্টি চরাচরে, হৃদয় অগোচরে, সৃষ্টির গান গাও...

Thinking too much leads to paralysis by analysis,
You can overthink a small problem or challenge
Until it looks like an undefeatable monster,
Or overthink something positive in your life
Until it doesn’t look so positive anymore.

Overthinking is a torturous endeavor..
Dear young minds, dont try to find
All the pieces that will solve the puzzle,
Try tocontrol your thoughts
Rather talk to yourself,
Convince yourself It's unreasonable.
Try to think positive
At any condition
And ask yourself,

We Are All BAD In Someone's Story...


It's like everyone tells a story
About themselves inside their own head,
Always.. All the time.
That story makes you what you are..
We build ourselves out of that story.
There is no greater agony than
Bearing an untold story inside you.

I wanted a perfect ending.
Now I've learned, the hard way,
That some poems don't rhyme,
And some stories don't have
A clear beginning, Middle, and end.
Sometimes you'll forget precisely what
Happened, but if a story touches you
It'll stay with you, haunting the places
In your mind that you rarely ever visit.

We were the people who were
Not in the papers..
We lived in the blank white spaces,
At the edges of print,
It gave us more freedom,
We lived in the gaps
Between the stories. . .
