Loneliness and aloneness are not the same… Loneliness, is running away from oneself, that is creating a constant dependency on things, people and ideologies… and aloneness, is to understand what it takes to be with oneself, for alone means ‘All-In-One’.
Some people are born to fit, fit into other people’s opinions & society’s rules. And, then there’re other people who’re fit to be born, explore and live a life on their own accord!
What drive you… having something better, having something more… the process of having drives you, right? Now, if your life is a series of having… then you’re constantly struggling to become this or that? When you’re constantly pushed into becoming, where’s the being, human being?
When you blame… when you blame others or self… what drives you? Have you paused and looked at yourself when you blame? When you blame, you derive certain pleasure is it not? What’s that pleasure? You feel sorry for yourself or it’s self pity? Have you noticed? Self-pity derives its pleasure from blaming!
As a parent or as an educator, have you ever observed your approaches towards children, towards raising or educating them? You want them to be good children based on what? Constantly, you drive them through a mechanism of reward or punishment? If a child acts out of fear of reward or punishment, is it really goodness?
Have you ever pondered, meditated on what gives raise to your purpose? Your current unhappy state births & drives your purpose…? You’re unhappy and you think that a purpose will fulfil or make you happy and you drive it? Now, if your unhappiness drives your purpose, will there be a happy outcome out of it?
Have you ever noticed, paid attention to your actions? Any action… emotional… material… political… spiritual… and so on? The fundamental energy that drives all of your actions… is hurt or fear of getting hurt!
When you start to depend, seek and search, you move away and lose yourself. And when you start to look, observe and pay attention, you understand yourself.
