The shape poem
The standards set are high.
You are not supposed to have a thick thigh.
The parameters of "centimetres" and "inches" are hard to fit in.
Why don't you loose some inches?
Why your figure is not in shape?
You are thin where you are supposed to be thick...
And thick where you should be thin...
Their parameters are many-
rectangle, triangle inspired from geometry.
Apple, pear, banana from the fruit basket.
And the favourite one hour glass.
Reduce sugar and fats to fit into that glass.
Aren't you supposed to be glamorous?
From fashion magazine to social media
is showing their well shaped bodies; and look at you.
What all this rubbish have to do with me?
I am not a model to fit in their moulds.
I have some goals to achieve ;
Other than shrinking my body to fit in their inches tapes.
I am healthy.
Happy with my shape.
I don't want to run in that race
To eat less, to eat less.
