The star

As I gaze, the night sky leaves me amazed,
the sparkle in my eyes, has been erased.
The shine of the twinkling stars galore,
made me think, wanting to see some more.

Then the brightest star descended on earth
by my side it stood, it was like a rebirth.
It bequeathed the shine, so I could explore,
made me think, wanting to see some more.

Be the star, that makes others shine encore
make them think, wanting to see some more.
