The Age-Old Habit of Dismissing Feelings
In this world, there's a peculiar trend where people tend to dismiss the feelings of others, especially when it comes to matters of the heart. Those who worship God with the sole intention of fulfilling their materialistic desires, often find it difficult to accept the existence of the LGBTQIA+ community. They perceive it as a mere illusion, a figment of one's imagination.
This society, which struggles to comprehend the hormonal imbalances and behaviors associated with periods, can hardly be expected to understand the complexities of sexual orientation within the LGBTQ+ community. The same society that has failed to grasp the essence of womanhood, cannot possibly fathom the existence of third-gender, transgender, and intersexual individuals.
It's essential to acknowledge that these individuals are also creations of God, with their unique voices and physical characteristics. Just as they exist, so do lesbians and gays. It's high time we recognize and accept this reality, rather than dismissing it as a mere fantasy.-

Humans have flaws, it's a fact of life,
Tata, Birla, and Ambani, all have faced strife,
Patanjali too, has had its share of pain,
But if we focus only on its flaws, we'll miss its gain.
If we only see the negatives, we'll be blind,
To the positives, that make it shine,
We'll miss the benefits, that it has to share,
And won't be able to appreciate, its true worth to spare.
So let's look at both, the good and the bad,
And try to understand, what makes it tick,
Only then can we, truly appreciate,
Its value and its worth, and make the most of it, quick.-
Haters and Jealousy
Some people hate those who do great things,
Because they're jealous of their success that brings,
They can't achieve what others do with ease,
So they criticize and try to bring them to their knees.
Admiring someone and trying to be like them,
Is hard to do, but some just can't win.
They get jealous instead and feel blue,
And try to bring others down, that's what they do.
But greatness shines no matter what they say,
And those who achieve don't let hate get in their way.
They keep moving forward, one step at a time,
And leave the haters behind, with their jealousy and grime.-
In Manipal's verdant heart, I strolled one evening fair,
Fetching tea and snacks, with a phone call to share.
My mother listened closely, as I described the sight,
Two monkeys descending trees, eating from a student's plate, in delight.
Their playful antics brought me joy, in that fleeting moment's space,
A beauty shared with mother, in a warm and loving place.
I also told her of the peacocks, India's national pride,
Their vibrant plumes, a treasure to behold, side by side.
But as I gazed upon the scene, a sorrow crept inside,
Recalling Hyderabad University's fate, where destruction does reside.
Cranes ravage 400 acres, once lush and green,
Home to 220 bird species, 700 plants, now unseen.
A haven lost, a tragedy unfolds, a crime against Nature's hand,
A poignant reminder of our fragile existence, in this delicate land.
Oh, the irony of progress and greed, that destroys the beauty we adore,
A beauty that sustains us, connects us, and makes us human, evermore.
In Manipal's heart, I witnessed joy, but also felt a pang of sorrow,
For the destruction of our planet's precious heritage, and the beauty we borrow.-
In family ties, I feel *Love* so strong,
A bond that's unbreakable, where I belong.
With friends, I share *Laughter*, joy and play,
Together we create memories that never fade away.
With relatives, I feel *Respect*, a sense of pride,
For the traditions and values that they provide.
With colleagues, I experience *Trust*, a sense of team,
Working together towards a common dream.
With juniors, I feel *Pity*, a desire to guide,
To help them learn and grow, side by side.
With teachers, I have *Gratitude*, for all they've taught,
For shaping my mind and helping me to be brought.
With siblings, I feel *Jealousy*, a sibling rivalry,
But deep down, a love that's strong and free.
And with myself, I strive for *Self-acceptance* each day,
To love and accept myself, in every single way.-
Friendships of old, a treasure to share,
Empowering lives, with love and care.
Through thick and thin, they stand as one,
Helping each other grow, under the sun.
In times of darkness, they lend a hand,
Guiding each other, through life's demand.
With kindness, compassion, and gentle might,
They uplift and heal, with love and light.
Across all boundaries, a bond takes hold,
A beautiful friendship, that never grows old.
No walls to climb, no divisions to make,
Just a heartfelt connection, that forever will shine.
Their bonds, a testament to friendship true,
A treasure to cherish, forever shining through.
Friendships, a gift to behold,
Empowering each other, with love that never grows old.-
Holi, a festival of joy and delight,
A time to spread happiness, and make everything right.
If someone's feeling down, and their heart is sore,
Let's lift their spirits, and show them love galore.
Share your smiles, and your laughter too,
With everyone around, old and new.
Whether they're family, or just a friend,
Let's spread joy that never ends.
So let's celebrate Holi, with all its hue,
And make sure everyone's happy, that's what we'll do.
Wishing you all a Happy Holi, filled with glee,
May your day be colorful, and bright, and free!-
Life's grass may seem greener on the other side,
But hidden pains and struggles often reside.
Be kind to all, regardless of their guise,
For beneath the surface, tears may silently rise.
Some may wear a mask of indifference and pride,
But deep down, they may be hurting, unable to hide.
Their bitter words and actions may be a cry,
A desperate attempt to distract from the pain they deny.
Let's not be fooled by their tough exterior shell,
For within, a fragile heart may be struggling to tell.
Its okay to let go of the "I don't care" attitude we see,
And instead, offer kindness, compassion, and empathy.
So let's be gentle with one another, and try to understand,
That behind every bitter word, a hurting soul may stand.
Let's spread love, kindness, and compassion far and wide,
And create a world where everyone can feel safe to reside. ๐๐-
