चांद आसमां में और चांदनी मेरे साथ होती
कुछ मैं तुमसे तो कुछ तुम मुझसे कहती
जाना! तुम सोच रही हो
वो रात कितनी हंसी होती
एक हाथ में तेरा हाथ
दूसरे में तेरे हाथ की बनी चाय होती
मैं सितारों की तुलना तुम्हारी नजरों से करती
उफ्फ तुम भी बस!

चेहरे को चांद और हवाओं को
तेरे बदन की खुशबू कहती
यह सब सुनकर तुम यूं ही शरमा जाती
वैसे तो सब ठीक है जाना!
अफसोस बस यही है
