How amazing is this universe! I think about how I’m here. And you’re also here-there, somewhere in this big world. And if we just close our eyes hard enough, we can feel, just for a moment, as though we’re together in this.

किसी चाँद की मुहब्बत में रोशन है
मैं वहीं दूर एक छोटा-सा तारा,
मुझे गौर से शायद कभी देखा भी नहीं तुने,
मेरे होने या ना होने से शायद ही तेरी रोशनी में कोई खलल पड़े
पर ये नादां दिल जो तेरी चाहत कर बैठा है उसे समझाऊँ तो समझाऊँ कैसे
तुझ पर सिर्फ अपना हक जताऊ तो जताऊ कैसे?

कि तुने मुझसे कुछ सच्ची-सी मुहब्बत कि है।

क्या रात के सन्नाटों में तुमहे भी अपनी रूह की वो दबी हुई चीखें सुनाई देती है?

People have different ways of coping up with sadness. Some drink away their sorrows. I choose to write. Holding onto the pain, laying my heart out on a piece of paper and letting people consider it art. I don't think someone is blessed from birth to be a writer. Life breaks you into a writer.

I wish it was as easy as people say it is, to forget something.
But how do I forget it when my soul still bears scars from it.

I don't thank people who hurt me anymore.
I used to think they helped me to learn how to survive.
But no, the ocean never taught me to swim.
I learned it myself.

There is no escape in the quiet of the night
Maybe it is much worse
Because it is then when I can hear and feel the thoughts, the silenced screams that I keep shut inside me in the day

It was as if...
I was on the edge of a cliff
I knew there was so much more I had to face,
but I felt trapped,
as if the walls were pushing me,
making me feel small and weak and I was scared,
I couldn't see any light,
just stretches of darkness ahead,
and I was stuck, with no one by my side

While that quiet girl in the corner who's always wearing long sleeves could make the world brighter with the slightest smirks!
