Amidst the noise of who's who,
Got lost following the queue.
With a paradox fully blown
And a chasing desire to be known,
I found a mirror;
Too real to be a filler.
Confused and perplexed I bowed,
The destiny approaching it showed.
Questioning myself I asked to specify,
'That's what you need to identify'.
The clarity I longed for,
Was actually within the core.
Those moments of introspection,
Witnessed the secret of existence.

मुक़ाम जो हासिल हुआ है आज
हजारों संघर्षों के बाद,
इस जीत को सराहना ज़रूर
पर सिर्फ़ ख़ुद के होने पर ना करना गुरूर।
हाँ, परिणाम पर नाम सिर्फ़ तुम्हारा है,
मगर इसके पीछे रहा बहुतों का सहारा है।
हर विफलता में जब
डगमगाया था विश्वास तुम्हारा,
साथ ही सभी ने था
दिन-रात हौसला बढ़ाया।
वहाँ सफलता की सीढ़ी तुमने चढ़ी थी,
यहाँ तुम्हारे नाम से पहचान
सभी को मिली थी।

कभी कभी मुकम्मल ना हो पाने का डर
मुकम्मल होने ही नहीं देता।

इजाज़त की फ़िक्र करना,
मगर
वही किया जाना
जो आपको जायज़ लगे,
ये तो मंज़ूर-ए-जहां हो गया।
असल में
क्या हुआ, क्या नहीं
ये तो आज भी
दफन है कहीं।
यूं तो कई दफा
कठोर हुआ हैं इंसान,
मगर, मुस्कुराहट लिए
अक्सर ही
राहगीर हो चला।

Or are you still in the cocoon..
The definitions you need to define,
Oh! please don't cross your line.
'Feel good' seemed comfortable
Till it entered the talks; too vulnerable.
Nothing left but something.
That too, kept you judging.
Was that not right from the beginning
Or a mere candle flickering,
Framing into an anecdote
That no one really wrote.
So, you got the baggage na?
It's time to leave!!

जो बिन माँगे मिला है, उसका गुरूर क्या कीजे।
तुम्हारी ख्वाहिशें तो कमबख़्त, खत्म होने का नाम नहीं लेती।

फ़लक को
उस चांद के हवाले कर देना,
नज़रअंदाज़ किया जाना
उन सितारों का होना,
यूं तो रिवायत समझा गया।
मग़र जब अमावस्या की रात
ख़्याल आया,
उन चमचमाते सितारों का,
तब दूर कहीं
खो जाने का एहसास हुआ।

खोने में कहां वक़्त लगता है।

ये तो ख़ुद को खोया हुआ
पाने में
मुझे; अर्सा लग गया।

For what you desire,
Spitted there
The least you knew.
What reflected
kept you at peace,
With haziness
Completely at breach.
Ignoring the cause,
that needed 'you';
Simply took a pause,
Clearing what was due.
