The wait so long,
Cherishing each moment
Bearing within herself,
A life beyond herself.

As the baby is born,
Completely unknown to the world here,
With mother, her first and only connection
Through months of nourishment and warm care.

With a grasp so tight,
With a tiny mouth to draw love in
Crying in the arms of mother,
The gentle bond they share.

The mother begins feeding
As soon as they unite,
Protecting all with her heart
Feeding the first golden drops.
The sweet transition as it occurs
To the mature milk as it continues.

With the tender care and liquid love,
Amidst the soul-touched sacred rhythm
Giving the gift of health and immunity ,
To the life she cares beyond herself.

Too disguised to be real.
There exists a line there
Too subjective to be clear.
There exists a line within
Being attenuated as you grin.
There exists a line infront
Better to safely confront.
There exists a line everywhere
Solely if you are aware.

The closure we sat for
Indeed lied in the past
The eyes being unknown
Couldn't appreciate,
The mind; poor fellow
Kept looking for ages.
As the curtains fell,
The play, though over
Little did they cared for,
Their shadows inevitably visible.
The flowers in the vicinity,
Colourful as they appeared
Some bloomed and lived forever
Some cleistogamous; still living in the closure.

इस बार भी छुट्टियाँ खत्म होने से पहले ही जा रहे हो ?
गर्व है हमें तुम्हारी निष्ठा पर,
यूं सेवा के लिए तत्पर रहते के इस जज़्बे पर ।

रेतीले पहाड़ो की गर्माहट से मी गर्म है खून तुम्हारा
बर्फीली चट्टानों से भी ज्यादा मजबूत है हौसला तुम्हारा ।
सरहद पर जो तुम खड़े रहते हो अडिग,
डरते हैं घुसपैठिए आभास मात्र से तुम्हारे।

सतत पहरेदारी में, ना कभी आँख झपकाते हो,
इसी विश्वास पर ही हम चैन की नींद सो पाते हैं ।
सरहद की सीमाओं से परे भी,
हर आपदा में, तुम ही पहले मोर्चे पर आते हो ।

हो करगिल में युद्ध की घड़ी,
केदारनाथ में बचाव कार्य,
वायनाड में सेतु निर्माण,
या हो शान्ति के क्षण,
तुम्हारा समर्पण है. साहस का प्रतीक ।

नमन है उन साहसी परिवारों को
जिनसे मिलती है आपको हिम्मत,
कृतज्ञ हैं हम आपके पराक्रम के,
हम करते हैं भारत के वीरों को कोटि कोटि प्रणाम ।

GAZE ON ETERNITY

The green canopy under the sky
The constellation up above so high
Beyond the desires to witness
Lies a soul in darkness.

The fragrant wind was cherished
The softness of the petals was treasured
The beauty it unveiled in a virtual guise,
Yet the hues far away from the eyes.

The stick that paves the path
The spectrum that falls apart
Beneath lives a vibrant desire
The palette of beauty yet to admire.

The shaded dream of brightness
Just on the edge of reality
The eyes you gift after life
Continues to gaze on eternity.

With the end of dark night
The dawn sweeps away the plight.
The unveiled joy in the eyes,
Owing to the hero in disguise.

The everlasting hope of years,
To be free enough
To feel the freedom
Was knocking the doors of destiny
Standing merely as a dream to be free.

The unshrinking bravery
Paved the path
The unflickering belief,
Too strong to fall apart.
The firm unity
Finally; leading to Poorna Swaraj.

Some confronted the colonists at the frontline
Some inked the letters for the mankind
Some took care of the wounded
Some kept the vision unbounded.

In harmony, each soul embraced their role
Ushering the new chapter in India's tale.

क्या हुआ जो वो फूल नहीं खिले,
वातावरण को महकाने में उनकी कलियाँ ही काफी थी शायद
क्या हुआ जो रस्सी हाथ से फिसल गयी,
उसका ना रुकना ही बचाव था शायद
क्या हुआ जो आज थोड़ी देरी हो गयी,
यहाँ रुकना वहाँ पहुचने से ज्यादा जरूरी था शायद
क्या हुआ जो किसी मोड़ पर आ खड़े हो तुम,
फैसला लेना अब जरूरी हो गया है शायद
क्या हुआ जो लिखने को शब्द नहीं मिले आज,
थोड़ा गहन विचार अभी बाकी है शायद
क्या हुआ जो आगे का रास्ता कुछ ओझल है,
कुछ चीज़ों से अनभिज्ञ रह जाना ही जीवन है शायद।
