Consider a river flowing through the landscape. It doesn’t travel in a straight line, nor does it follow a perfect path. It carves its way around obstacles, creating its own route over time. Similarly, our mistakes and detours are not failures, but part of the journey that shapes who we are. Like the river, we flow forward, learning from every twist and turn.

Many may wish us to follow their path, yet even they can’t be certain it’s the right one—life is uncertain, and perfection is an illusion. Don’t live by others’ expectations; live by the voice of your inner soul. The one unchanging truth is that each of us came into this life with a unique purpose. Seek that purpose, rather than following a path shaped by others.

Like the fragrance of a flower that arises from within, true respect should grow from our own essence, not from living in the shadow of others. Each flower has its own unique scent, undisturbed by its surroundings.
So too should our respect be—a reflection of our character, our actions, and the values that define us, shining brightly from within.

Justice for Dr. Mounmita isn't just about one person—it's about standing up for all women, for their right to live without fear, to be respected, and to be free. Until we achieve that, our celebrations of independence are empty. We need to make sure that every woman in this country can live safely, with the respect and freedom she deserves. Only then can we truly say that we are independent.

How can we celebrate independence when our women are not truly free? When they cannot live without the fear of being attacked? Dr. Mounmita's story is a painful reminder that our work is far from over. We cannot call ourselves a free nation until every woman can walk without fear, until her rights and her dignity are respected by all.

A woman is not an object to be controlled or used. She is a force of nature, the power that brings life into the world and shapes the future. But when we fail to protect her, when we allow violence against her, we fail as a society.

Dr. Mounmita, a 2nd-year PG student, was someone with dreams, someone who was working hard to make a difference in the world. But in the very place where she should have felt safe, her workplace, her life was shattered. She was brutally attacked, her dignity stolen by someone who had no right to touch her.

All Eyes on Kolkata: Justice for Dr. Mounmita – A Call for True Independence

As we prepare to celebrate the 78th Independence Day, we need to ask ourselves—what does independence really mean if so many of us, especially women, are still living in fear? Independence isn't just about a nation being free; it's about every person having the freedom to live safely and with dignity.

Don't lose too much love to anyone, because during this period it is very rare to find a person with zero attitude, no ego, who genuinely cares and responds promptly to your texts and calls.
There are many people who use us if we pay more attention.
So it's best to live in peace and create good for ourselves, stand on our own and move forward with
self-love.

Suicide is not the end, no matter how traumatized you are, talk to someone you have faith in, but don't suppress it, don't get depressed, suicide is a bad thing, it doesn't just kill us. Memories of us kill the heart and happiness of our loved ones day by day. Try to bring happiness into someone's life, but don't be the person who brings tears to someone's eyes.
