I'll remember you for that
(Read in the caption)-
You smile a little everyday.
I underhanded all my intentions,
Dazed, chasing a phase,
Where I love you like you're my halo.
I underhanded all my intentions,
Crying for a fall,
Believing we would together be taller than skyscrapers.
I underhanded all my intentions,
Clasping your hands,
When mine were made of straw.
I underhanded all my intentions,
Hurting peace, hurting honour,
When I crafted my love.

THE FIRSTS
I'm jealous of the first person of everybody's love life. So basically, people. But specifically of the first of every person. This is what it feels like when you like for the first time and when you had to stop and when you really stop.

Cats make you fall in love with your house every single day. And they also help you in constantly redecorating your house, by breaking or peeing or because they like it to be redecorated, Cause that vase does not go with the room! And you can see it in their eyes. Yes, the judgement. It's constantly there. And you love it.

PEACE
Knit the lines,
And you may find peace,
Shushed in the corner of silence,
Hushed cause of violence,
Vinyl it once wore, now in rags,
Inch carefully towards it, or it may fall in the contiguous trench.-
TORN
Maybe that's why I didn't write anymore,
I wondered all these months, as they tore.
Sundays to next Sundays, I lifted, rarely a book,
Caring no more than a crook.
I was sinking deeper between the torn,
The sleight of hand and sleepless turns,
My darling I didn't remember to mourn,
All tales that were once so loud, subdued to a murmur.
It still would be a lie to say I'm not torn.

The city looks beautiful, the sky looks empty
And not enough starlight to spotlight my face, for any passersby to see the trickling, amid my wrong tapping to the tune.
Like the flashy neons all around and a cloudless sky with no stars.

Twenty seconds of oblivion
I hear lately your arms are embracing a lot of people, so I can't squeeze in anymore.
I hear I'm too emotional and you're out of paper napkins.
But I gave you the benefit of doubt,
And I checked your house and it was true,
And you were out in a fancy place with all twenty seats around you filled.

I hear your arms are embracing a lot of people, so I don't fit in no more.
