Neighborhood slept
Nocturnals wide awake
The lullaby of the nightingale
is weaving a blanket soothing the twilight sky
Still... The dusk is all I see
My palms are frozen,
My heart is pounding,
My body has curled up,
Waiting for the impending doom
Under the wool, I tried to find solace
Alas! I was wrong!
Fear started suffocating every cell
Pulling the soul out of my body
Amidst the chaos, the logic radiated light
Pointing to the Benzos strip shimmering under the candle light
Without further ado, I grabbed and gulped the pill
Thunder, lightning, earthquake - nothing can bother me anymore
And that's how I found my real saviour...
