कंधे हजार पर क्यूं खामोश वो पुकार है

शायद थक गए है सब आकांक्षाओं को मरता देख
इसलिए गम में अब ढूंढते सुकून का एहसास है।

लड़ते संभलते है उड़ना सिखा

अरमा अब बुलंद है

कुछ याद आया जो वो कभी बोली थी

के पेहला रंग मुझसे वो लगवाएगी
होके तैयार वो नुक्कड़ पे आएगी

मैं भी रंग लेके निकल पड़ा था
वहॉ उसका बेस्ट फ्रेंड ऑलरेडी खड़ा था

"बुरा न मानो" बोल उसने रंगदि उसकी चोली
यह देख मैं बोला......

साल बीत गए दिल के टुकड़े चुनते चुनते
पैनी नोक से कई बार हाथ है छिले
तब भी कमबख्त मन है मुस्कुराए
बार बार याद करके उनकी बेवफाई

जो करीब थे इतने के नजर ही ना आए
हमारी हिफाज़त में खुद की ढाल बनाए
भूल गए वह के हम अब कैदी हुए
घूट रहे उनकी मेहमान नवाजी में

वक्त काफ़ी है पर फुरसत है नहीं
बाते बहुत सी है पर लफ्ज़ है नहीं
खफा हूं ज़रा पर वजह मालूम नहीं
गम तो बहुत है, पर आंखे नम नहीं

दोस्त लाख है, संग एक भी नहीं
दिन भी रात है, रात रात ही रही
अब जो साथ है, तनहाइयां मेरी
हम मुस्कुराएंगे, झुठ-मुठ ही सही।

Few days rolling then you opened your eyes.
You grabbed his finger with all your hand.
Giggling and wondering how it will taste.


Soon you've grown, now you have his name
Copying him in everything without any shame.
Occasionally you bow down to touch his feet.
But ever wonder if you could hug him instead?

For letting me know that TIME is everything. For making me realise that real wealth is health and family. For telling me that we cannot discover our true self only by going outside somewhere but can also find yourself in solitude.

You were harsh, bitter, unwanted but yet inevitable. Unknowingly yes but you taught me few lessons which are prerequisite for my future journey. I'll not say you were worst or best but I'll say you were necessary.

With keeping you and your business in my mind, I'll not repeat my mistakes in 2021 and will try to become a good version of myself.
