It took me 14 months to hear his voice as he said "I love you".
I looked closely at his every facial features to absorb his physical presence and asked him frantically
Where have you been?
I have missed you !!!
To which he only smiled and said
"I love you! ..
and then it dawned to me about his permanent absence as I said
"I love you too" and burst into tears.

That fraction of time where i became semi-awake as i continued to feel the presence of my dream and started tunneling out with lots of white skeletons n teeth and instead of getting scared I wanted to witness it all like it was some kind of gateway to a different realm where I met my Dad up close and heard his voice after 14 months of his departure from our world.

It's sad that how we take our daily lives for granted and forget to say these magical words to our loved ones and after their eternal absence, sleep every night in hope to see them, feel them and talk to them somehow and yearn to hear these words.

hiding beneath the blanket of clouds
Taking a break from the gazing eyes
Who look upto them for hope
Each star is marked with some departed soul
The mortals find it hard to control
The emotions that flow from eyes
Build stairs to reach those stars

my journey that was felt deeply
To my growth when i created healthy boundaries
To my acceptance that sensitivity isnt a curse
but a rare blessing
As I carry my scars after healing
with the realisation
that even the Divine when born as a human
had to bow down to the cosmic order
as it witnessed destruction of it's own creation
marking the end of their yuga.

To do something
without wanting anything in return

And that is PRAY to Divine
with sincerity
for their well being,
bliss and
prosperity.

I no longer recognise the person I see in the mirror every day.
I live a little but die a little more each day in your memories.
Standing in the eye of the storm, watching myself drown with each breath as I rewind to the moment you left us alone.
I am finding ways to accept my destiny.
The helplessness, the regret and guilt keeps brewing when special occasions mark your absence.
I keep looking for signs in my dreams, in my everyday routine to know if you are around.

The universe sends me a sign
In the form of a lesson
That I was evading to learn
It started with something small
I ignored and let myself fall
Then it gave me a big jolt
A loss I couldn't fathom to hold
When I learnt to walk through the fire
And reached the place I was meant to be
Universe patted my back and said
Another lesson is waiting to unfold
For now you have become stronger than before.

HATRED
is engraved so deeply in people that they don't hesitate to attack the innocent.
In a world that is so remotely connected at a touch of fingertips which can help raise our consciousness, we as human race and everything we touch are facing doom with our greed, hatred and violence.

we are often chasing happiness externally,
but forget the key to it is internally.
We are wandering in search of 'something',
Forgetting that 'something' is SELF.
We look for love in different people,
Fact is that we always look for a connection and it is usually a reflection of self in people.
