आज हम स्वतंत्र हैं और खुल के सांस ले रहे हैं,
वजह हमारे स्वाधीनता संग्रामियों की बेतोड़ मेहनत है।

दिल में खुशियों की लहरे हैं और जीने की चाहत है,
देश को मिली आज़ादी से हमारी रूह को राहत है।

तिरंगा ऊंचा जब भी लहराता है, चेहरे पर एक अलग चमक आ जाता है,
मेरा भारत महान है देश का हर एक नागरिक कहता है।

Khwaab ki khidki khuli hai aaj,
Dil ke zakhmon ka hua ilaaz,
Utha hai seene mein kuch karne ki aawaz,
Man par ab na chalega auron ka raaj.

Khwaab ki khidki khuli hai aaj,
Khushiyon ka hoga ab aagaz,
Na rahega dil ab dimag se naraz,
Ab man ko milega sukoon ka taj.

Khawab ki khidki khuli hai aaj,
Badalega har rang har mizaz,
Dil bhi dikhayega apna andaz,
Ab karega duniya par raaj.

जिंदगी तुझसे शिकायत कैसी मैं करूँ,
अपने गलतियों की ज़िम्मेदार अब तुझे क्या ठेहाराया करूँ।
ना समझ है यह दिल ज़रा, बार बार ठोकर खाने चला जाता है,
अपनों के हाथों से ही खुद को ज़लील कर आता है।
तूने तो हमेशा संभलके रहने की मशवरा दी थी,
पर कम्बख्त दिल को यह समझ ना आई।
चल छोड़ अब और शर्मिंदा ना कर मेरी गलतियां गिनाकर,
आगे बढ़ जाते हैं, बीती हुई बातों की गद्दी फेंककर।

Some nights are made for humming your favourite song,
To be with you and spend me time for long,
To think about what's right and what's wrong,
And to hear the clock singing ding dong.

Some nights are made to release yourself from stress,
Cry out silently out of life's tiredness,
Heavy heart burning out of distress,
A room of sorrows and bouquet of loneliness.

Some nights are made to scribble feelings in the diary,
Hoping to see a good and blissful fairy,
Who can fulfill wishes written in my diary,
To make me free from the life query.

Your voice reminds me of the morning calls I used to get,
Your pictures reminds me of the memories and moments we have set.
When you used to get angry whenever I reached late,
Your voice, your loving scoldings, your laughter everything I miss my life mate.

This lockdown has been really disappointing for me,
Because everyday I have to live without thee,
The phone calls cannot make me stress free,
Until and unless you come to me.

But health comes first over everything,
I just want to see you smiling and nothing,
Be with your family and enjoy the priceless feeling,
Once everything become normal, come fast because you know I am waiting.

सहम जाते हैं कदम भी जब जिंदगी धोखा दे जाती है,
थम जाती हैं साँसें भी जब जीने की वजह नहीं मिल पाती है,
फिर भी दिल खुद को मजबूत बनाए रखता है,
काँटों पर चलने के लिए फिर कदम बढ़ जाती है।

Alone in the city, searching for a friend,
He already knew that silence never end.
Far far away no one is there to console,
Lying on the bed with tears was the broken soul.
Only the sound of chirping of the birds,
Whole day he listens to songs putting his earbuds.
He found a companion in the pages of the book,
The specs on his eyes was now his new look.
But he never gave up and was always there to support himself,
He knew he was not less than a elf.
Life will leave you all alone evey time,
But you need to move ahead with a broad smile.
