छोटी छोटी बात पर उत्सव मनाना सीखिए,
अपने पर्व धर्म पर भी उत्सव मनाना सीखिए।
पड़ोस की आंटी को मम्मी कह रहे, अच्छा लगा,
अपनी माँ को माँ कह, उत्सव मनाना सीखिए।

नग्न होती सभ्यता, शराब और मॉंस का चलन,
रात भर सड़कों पर घूमें, अर्द्ध रात्रि को नमन।
शामिल हैं अन्धी दौड़ में, बुढे बच्चे युवा सभी,
त्याग कर पाश्चात्य, भारतीय नववर्ष को गमन।

भारतीय नववर्ष का, प्रकृति ही आधार है,

फ़सलों का पकना, समृद्धि का सार है।

बदल गया मौसम, नववर्ष आया है,
प्रकृति ने रंग रूप, नया सजाया है।
फूल रही सरसों, खेत में धानी धानी,
प्रफुल्लित किसान, देखकर हर्षाया है।

तितली भौरें झूम रहे हैं, कली फूल पर,
कोयल कूकी आम, नया संवत आया है।
चली गई सर्दी, मौसम ने अंगड़ाई ले ली,
कोट रज़ाई त्यागे, जन जन इठलाया है।

नवयौवना चहक रही, सजा रही घर द्वारे,
चलो मनायें उत्सव, नववर्ष आया है।
घर घर दीप जलें, हो धन धान्य की वर्षा,
करें सम्मान प्रकृति का, नववर्ष आया है।
