শিশির ভেজা নরম ঘাসে
কাশ ফুলেরই গন্ধ ভাসে,

হালকা ভেজা শিউলি ফুলে
সারাবাংলা উথলে ওঠে,

স্নিগ্ধ শীতল হালকা হওয়ায় আগমনীর গানে
সুদূর যেন ঢাকের বোলে মুখরিত সেই সুরে,

সুদূর হলেও নিজের কাছে মায়ের মুখ ভাসে
তাইতো বলি মা আসছে ,মা আসছে ।।

জাগরিত হোক আমাদের এই প্রাণ,

ঊষাকালে বীরেন্দ্রবাণী লয়ে
সিক্ত হৃদয় শুভ্র শিউলি ঘ্রাণে,

ধরায় বহে মাতৃস্নেহের ধারা
'মা' কর্তৃক অসুর নিধন পালা,

মহামারী এবার নিশ্চয়ই যাবে কেটে
সেই আকুতি মায়ের কাছে রেখে ।।

তোমাদের হাজার প্রশ্নের ভীড়ে হারিয়ে যায় আমার উত্তরগুলো হঠাৎ,
কল্পনাতীত প্রশ্নের মুখোমুখি পরীক্ষার্থী হতে হয় আমায় বারবার,
হাজার অভিযোগের আঙুলের ভীড়ে থমকে যায় আমার তাৎক্ষণিক উত্তরগুলো,
হারিয়ে যায় এলোমেলো দমকা হাওয়ার মতো,,

সমাজের এই প্রশ্ন-উত্তরের কলহের শিকার আজ মানুষ, তারা হারিয়ে যাচ্ছে জীবন নামক ধাঁধায়।।
