loved animals.
As an adult I reckon this
feeling is irrevocable.

The love we had,
The promises you made,
The future we dreamt,
And the pain you gave.

Your memories glow on
my ashtray every night.
I inhale your memories and
exhale my pain with every puff.
I can see the rings of desperation
blends in perfectly with the air.
And now the fumes of our love
has become toxic to the
environment.

that you can put down your
real emotion into words
and no one would ever know.
