Sleepless night and day goes dreaming
Trying to figure out this life and it’s meaning
Disillusioned by the life so unkind
Hopelessly looking for something I can’t find
Meaning of life has changed
Familiar people now seems so strange
Knowing that I made somebody weep
Keeps me away from my sleep
What do we gain
In all this pain
I feel like this life is in vain
It happens for a reason
But I can’t seem to see any learning or any experience
Emotions of cloud cover the sky
Keeping me in the limbo of why

Why do we need boundaries
When we have religion to divide us
Why do we need soldiers
Why are they laying their life protecting us from outsiders
When we have politicians killing us within
The only way you can be patriotic
Is by having animosity for other countries
Why can’t we be just a citizen’s of this planet
Soon there won’t be a planet to build walls on
Why can’t we all just imagine.

It’s the people you remember who are attached to it
Makes you travel back in time

Scarecrow stands firmly in the middle of the field
Getting lonely feeling cold, Feeling tired and getting old
Longing for a company, But none would come close
As he is forced to drive away every living being
Guarding the fields of gold, Pretending to be bold
Feeling helpless to the core
His pocket filled with hay, But has no one to play
Waiting for a tornado
So he doesn’t have to die every single day.
