In a world where masks are worn with grace,
And friendship’s often a fleeting face,
I found a soul, so pure, so true
In Simran’s heart, the skies turned blue.
From co-evaluators side by side,
To cherished friends, with arms open wide,
She showed me care, so deep, so kind,
A selfless heart, so hard to find.
No hidden needs, no silent schemes,
Just gentle words and hopeful dreams.
A calming light, a warming ray,
She lifts me up in her quiet way.
To call her friend, what joy, what pride,
With her, no storms I need to hide.
In selfish times, she's proof, indeed,
That pure souls still on Earth do breathe.-
Tiny tot with a pichkari bright,
Drenched in colors, a joyful sight.
Laughing, dancing, spreading cheer,
Flutes and beats ring far and near.
Radha smiles, her face aglow,
Drenched in hues of love’s sweet flow.
Gopis chase, but he’s too spry,
Sprinkling colors as he flies by.
Sky turns pink, the trees turn blue,
Krishna’s Holi, pure and true.
With every splash, with every hue,
He paints the world in love so new!

Kis Baat Ka Gham Ho?
Agar wo puchle humse, kis baat ka gham hai,
To keh doon, muskurahat bhi ab sirf ek bharam hai.
Zindagi musafir hai, raste bhi anjaane,
Har mod pe chhode hain, kuch dukh ke afsane.
Jo sapne sajaye the, wo toot bhi gaye hain,
Jo log apne the, wo rooth bhi gaye hain.
Na koi shikwa dil mein, na shikayat ki aadat,
Bas khwab adhoore hain, bas yaadon ki rishtat.
Agar wo puchle humse, kis baat ka gham hai,
To kaise bataun usse, jo baat bhi kam hai.

Alone in the Crowd
They call it a family,
this field we belong,
A bond so strong,
yet it feels all wrong.
For when you stumble,
when you fall,
Who truly stands?
Hardly any at all.
You came alone,
you'll go the same,
Through highs and lows,
through loss and gain.
Names may change,
faces fade,
But your own shadow is all that stays.

O My Cherished Divinity
Oh Lord Shiv, thy name escapes my lips,
In joy, in sorrow, through life's eclipse.
Not as a worshiper bound by creed,
Nor as an atheist, questioning need.
You are the pulse that beats in me,
A timeless essence, vast and free.
In anger’s spitfire, doubts take form,
Yet you remain—the eye of the storm.
Not just a deity carved in stone,
But the whisper within, my spirit’s own.
Everywhere, every moment, you dwell,
In silence profound, in the chaos’ swell.
I see you in the sun’s first light,
In shadows deep, in the still of night.
Though I falter, though I stray,
You are the path, the light, the way.
No rituals bind, no temple walls,
For you’re the echo when my spirit calls.
Cherished divinity, both vast and small,
You are me within, my All-in-All.

A Yearly Obligation
The clock strikes twelve, the year turns new,
A chorus of wishes, "Happy New Year to you!"
But is it joy, or just a chore,
A ritual we follow, nothing more?
Friends, family, the world at large,
Expect the greeting, free of charge.
A duty, a task, to keep others glad,
Yet skipping it might make them mad.
So here's my wish, sincere and true,
Happy New Year, from me to you.
Not out of compulsion, but from the heart,
May joy and peace be your year's fresh start.
Does this resonate with how you feel?

On this bright New Year, a special cheer,
For the love of my life, my husband so dear.
The best among bests, my truest friend,
A bond so strong, it will never end.
My partner in crime, my life's sweet song,
With you by my side, I always belong.
On your birthday today, I wish you delight,
A year full of joy, love shining bright.
Today we celebrate all that you are,
My constant, my rock, my shining star.
🎂, my beloved🥰, my heart💝, my cheer☺️,
Here’s to more laughter, love, and another great year! 😘

When night drapes the world in quiet slumber,
And shadows whisper secrets in their number,
A cozy blanket wraps me, soft and tight,
Yet my restless soul craves the ink of night.
Words spill like stars from the vast unknown,
A poet’s heartbeat, deeply my own.
If not a teacher shaping minds so bright,
I’d craft verses, drenched in moonlit delight.
For deep within, a poet stirs awake,
Each thought, a ripple, each word, a lake.
To express the weight that my soul has borne,
Through poetry’s beauty, I am reborn.
In the darkness, where silence softly lingers,
I weave dreams with these ink-stained fingers.
Teaching fills me, but truth resides,
A poet lives, where my heart confides.

My dear students, my children true,
In each of you, I find joy anew.
Today as your teacher, filled with pride,
Heart warmed, spirits lifted, side by side.
For each little laugh, and spark you show,
Flabbergast wonder, as you grow and glow.
Happy Children's Day, to you and to me,
To the child in us, forever free.

Life's Surprises
Life tosses waves, both rough and kind,
Moments of sorrow, moments that shine.
In storms of sadness, when shadows creep,
Faith’s gentle light, a flame you should keep.
Through all the lows, the highs so bright,
You're a fighter, steadfast in the fight.
With trust in the Saviour, your heart won’t stray,
Guided by hope, come what may.
For every sorrow, there’s joy reborn,
In every night, You find the morn.
Life’s surprises, bittersweet and true,
walk this path with faith renewed.
