Peel the layers
And one will find
What truly is behind
Those perfect clothes
Makeup or beard
Is a human being
Wanting to be heard
Beneath that perfect skin
And face
Is a human being
Seeking some grace
When it comes to the end
All becomes just mud n ash
What will remain
Forevermore
Is the soul that touched
Many to the core
Will live on till eternity
The good n bad
Etched in memory

Colors thrown around
A red, yellow or blue
The world rests all storms
And takes on this hue
A delight it is to see
This glorious symphony
love in its many forms
Makes its way around…

Up in the clouds
the emptiness below
Just me and my thoughts
Among lights aglow

Up in the night sky
Not a bird or bee
Just a physical being
Beyond all earthy means

Just full of peace
The one n only place

Serenity prayer

God, give us grace to accept with serenity
the things that cannot be changed,
Courage to change the things
which should be changed,
and the Wisdom to distinguish
the one from the other.
Living one day at a time,
Enjoying one moment at a time,
Accepting hardship as a pathway to peace,
Trusting that You will make all things right,
If we surrender to Your will,
