সূক্ষ্মপথের দু'ধারে যখন আশঙ্কাদের ভিড়,
অনিশ্চয়তা, নিয়তির মাঝে দোদুল্যমান চেতনা;
কিছু প্রাণ আসে অস্ত্র হাতে, মেটাতে ভ্রান্ত যাতনা-
শব্দে যাদের বিবেক জাগে, জ্ঞানের যারা রক্ষক;
সাফল্যই দক্ষিণা তাদের, কালজয়ী সেই শিক্ষক।

নিকষ কালো ফিকে হয়ে আসে,
নিপীড়ন গেছে ঘুচে-
অনুর্বর এই আঙিনাতে আজ
বোগেনভিলিয়া ফোটে!
বিগত সব জ্যোৎস্নালোকে
পথ চেনা ছিল দায়,
আজ দেখি তার রূপ-মহিমায়
অসীম ছোয়া যায়।

Life is like a wheel,
Now the part that is on the floor,
Will rise to the top one day.

When he looked at me
with his fascinating eyes
I was stunned.
an invisible chain binds my legs.
His hands don't seem to be
made of blood and flesh;
because their touch
erases all my grievance.
His presence is not only
pleasing and comforting
It washes away
all my loneliness.
To me he is not only
a bodily human being
he is a holy soul
who has overcome all evil.
