Once I had a special friend, a confidante who'd stay to the end.

You were my diary and I shared my stories, my secrets, my fears, and my worries.

But now you are gone, and I'm each alone, my heart stings, and I feel so alone.

Without you, I feel so deficient, my life feels empty, and my spirit feels beat.

But I will try to find a way, to make it through each lonely day
And as I move on with my life, I'll always cherish our precious time.
