Time, why do you change?
Letting things around me change.
I am so frustrated with you,
All I want is,
Holding a moment,
So good, for long,
Lo, it fades away.
Am left with confabulated memories,
And so are others.
The bonds and the relations, I had
Are all turning dusty and rusty.
Maybe, you(time) are the culprit,
Behind all this.
Why do you want to make things temporary?
Only to ruin my efforts to make it permanent.

In this fast paced, monotonous world;
Take a break.
Slow down,
Sharpen your senses,
Take a moment,
To appreciate what's around;
And get yourself ready to run again.

Their presence is irritating,
But their absence is annoying.

Their talks are boring,
But their silence is deafening.

Laughter, sadness, joy, sorrow, fights,
All shared with them, nothing to conceal,
As they are a inseparable part of our lives.

Yes, we call them siblings.

Seize the moment they said.
But moment seizes us, a reality they never said.

Who considers humanity above,
Gender, race, riches, caste, colour, creed and all.
To those who are not bound by age,
In whom the childish like curiosity still persists,
Striving after every failure,
Pursuing every adventure,
For the venture to know the mystery of life.
Rest are nothing but dead bodies living.

So behaving with people has become relative,

Everyone comes to you with different demands,
Giving them what they want,
To see if they are pleased.

Wanting you to put a fake mask
In order to meet what it requires of the task,
Irrespective of what I need to bask,
Can't someone just care to ask?

So question is what I want?
In the world of expectations,
Haven't we failed to know oneselves?
