To stick on your roots
To grow up, no matter what
To offer things unconditionally
And most importantly
How much ever we grow
To stay grounded

My slender legs,
Walked meticulously,
With the girl holding my hand,
For a long journey.
Journey seems like maze or labyrinth
But maze that everyone would amaze
Spotted peacocks, birds and flowers of distinct patterns
Encountered palanquin with queen and king too
The path I progressed was completely dark
Yet I reached my destination with a mark
Subsequently, the dark maze broke in to pieces
Giving way to stunning lighter one.
What contentment to create smiles around
With my marks left behind
Yours lovingly
Mehandi cone-
I just want to call out my buddies
My
Silent friend
Gossipy friend
Chatterbox friend
Angry bird friend
Helper friend
Shy friend
Argumentative friend
Whatever be your type
I just want to say
I love you for what you are!!!-
Keep your thoughts so high
Up on the level
That negative person could seldom climb
-
Daughter walks with eyes closed
Dad: “you might fall down Kanamma”
Kid: “how can I? You are holding my hands”-
I trust and believe people I meet,
One or two might disappointment me,
But that should never impede,
My love for this beautiful life.
I will trust and believe forever,
To keep happiness as my companion.-
I ran in temple
“Oh that’s temple run” my kids said
I jumped and went in local train
“Subway surfers?” they questioned
I ate colour candies during carnivals
“Oh that’s Candy crush”
I go to village farms and be one with nature
“Bigger than farms in FarmVille”
“Oh just stop. live your life” I shouted
“Oh! Mom. One life gone as you have disturbed
Two more left. “ and continued playing

Forgiveness
For it curtails the burden
Of your heart
And offers you
Immense contentment-
With different emotions
Sometimes we rewind
Best ones
Over and over again-
