I ain't into cooking much but there's a cooking style 'Bouquet garni'. In this, a sachet of herbs is used to infuse flavor into the dish (while cooking). The herbs are later removed after leaving a background taste in the dish. And when the dish is served it's nowhere there. Same goes with a human life, few people were there with us in the process and after the results they don't get any credit. Is it them being extremly selfless or us being extremely selfish?
