Death comes cheap
some tears and weep
and a tired soul to its end
behind lovers and friends
wishing for the breath to stay
for a minute or day
until all vanishes in a blink
for their hearts to sink
and an unending queue emerge
for the dead to submerge
with wails piercing to the deep
yet death comes cheap
if the care takers can sleep.-
Gravity
Nothing would be an offense
if things don't go your way
if words don't convince you
just observe the play.
How universe moves in a fashion
so uniformly aligned
if gravity wouldn't have hold
who'd have bind
all the planets and galaxies
the moons and stars
humans with humans
with scent of flowers,
waiting for letters
days and hours
filling the space
pouring kisses in scars
we are all binded,
either close or far
so make a wish
when you look above
for flying in gravity
when falling in love.
-
Of all the scariest things,
to live in solitude is the most terrifying
until love gives a reason to find itself in oneself.-
Letters
Shall I write you a leaflet
with no words but space
to ask you to dive in
and sink in with grace
where nothing you shall find
except depth and peace,
nothing shall haunt you
where you'll meet me at ease.
Now you have to decipher
what's hidden in the space
for that you need to drown in
and leave the race, the race to sail and reach the end is done by all with so much contend.
So seep in till you find my inkless dwell
where words shall ask,
Hope my love finds you well.

In Remembrance of the Universe
None will be left to hail your wonders
and blame me as one of your blunders
to shed a tear in remembrance of the sky
to count the stars till one heave a sigh.
Adore the clouds until they start to sly
and cover the moon to make it shy.
Kiss me all if I am telling a lie
even the timeless today is bound to die.
Yet there is much more to cry
for there is so less to deny
that nothing magical will ever exist as wonders of thy
and with a heavy heart, I bid you Goodbye.
-
Gaze
I shall not see the ocean
nor shall I see the sky
if I keep my gaze on you
to have you all before I die.
The wonders all enclosing me
did all their hue and cry
to have me from you
yet my gaze didn't lie.
No wonder, lifeless yet fond of you
if even at the last I don't sigh
not much is I want to wish,
to have you all before I die.-
Time
The sun is yet to rise
till then let me fall twice
for the dawn that shines you half
and the dark that colours your laugh.
The stillness synchronizing our eyes
holds love with no goodbyes
and in a moment, time flies
for the moon to paint you light
and then I realised,
heart won't mind falling thrice.
-
Death
When I die
invitees are meant to cry
& hail my good deeds.
If you don't remember any
then have some weed.
When the convoy starts, let me lead,
post this picture on your feed.
Let woman charm their eyes
looking how a modest man dies.
Food should be burger and fries,
better moaners will be pleased with soda and ice.
Make it so huge and nice,
that everyone wishes to die twice.
-
What it takes
to be a poet
has less to do
with words and
more to do with love.-
How fulfilling yet hollow is
a sky,
a moon,
a shiny noon,
thunderous monsoon,
when felt through the eyes
in the last goodbyes
shedding see you soon.
