Adjustments are mandatory in life. Even without realizing it, you have been adjusting to many a things in life. It's a part of our survival. It helps us adapt to certain unwelcome things to a favourable extent.

Compromises, on the other hand, are simply unacceptable. They do nothing to enhance your personality. If anything, they continually gnaw at the perfectly happy person that you were, and reduce you to an utter wreck. You are unable to look at yourself in the mirror. Your mind screams in silence.

Beware, they look almost similar. It's upto you to identify the evil twin.

How often do you convince yourself that the angry red bruise on your arm was due to a bad fall from the stairs? It absolutely had nothing to do with the way he twisted your arm because his breakfast had gone cold.

Because that's the trick, isn't it?

Fool yourself into believing that there is nothing wrong with this utopia. Even when your soul is screaming with all its might, cover your ears so that it no longer reaches you.
