Midnight thunderbolts filled their homes
With light and awe and meltdowns we know
Are they made of wants or wit?
Is it their place of bodies or just the crowd?
Listening to rhythms and also to rit...
Hearing nothing when the soul shrieks loud..
Why can't they peer through the flesh?
There lies their home Their God their mirth..
Their all the time when all they do is rush..
Home is no far but within the skin
