its been a long time
but now i feel i was in a hurry
hurry to accomplish
hurry to capture and conquer
what i ended up doing is
shattering it all on the floor
and those irregular shapes
glitter like stars
twinkling in the night sky
sooner or later i gotta stop
take a breath , try and analyse
what this was - a remedy to overcome
the maladies or just a wave
on the shore of a serene lake
whose occurrence and disappearance
was unpredictable
let alone the thought of accomplishment
i have lost a lot

seen well dressed rhymes
drenched in metaphors
talking poetry to verses

a mockery of fate or a jealous affair
everytime i try but never get there
a music plays non stop, deafening sound of praise
tried to look down the horizon, beyond the musky haze
roads to nowhere,deep dark alleys
a monster smiles , looking in my eyes
like he knows where i belong

echoes of lies bittersweet
craving the waves of deceit
grin and grit no bravado
sway arms lanky desperado
i lead, you follow
gulps of hate, yeah! swallow

my deserted eyes rain
river of thoughts,
a dying train
it shush me off
and poison my veins
read my mind
i would never lie
hear the chaos
noiseless screaming pain

stay a little longer
i am hard to hate
but easy to conquer
no cards will predict
our sanity of love
our whisk emotions
our deep rooted scars
hot devil i am a cold addict
the nectar you own
a reason of bliss
i am death with icy hands
burn your fire more
run the night blindfolded
till your body wound sore

pouring my emotions on canvas as an art
confess lies but no secrets of heart
last glimpse of her, embracing one day
crawled out of life for a journey far away

came the blame game
to let us crave more
more respect
more chats
more feelings
more despair

like a dream or illusion
too good to be true
the flower on that table
have longed for you
strumming the pain
bloodied hands of rains
kept humming the lyrics
of songs sad to listen

hope
what else good one can do
the slight glimmer of sunshine
to change all , make colors blind
there's lot left in you
stand up and fight
fight for the freedom you dreamed
fight for that one stupid smile
fight , you have seen eyes of tears
for so long through all these years
