I often ask the night not to sleep,
I often ask the night to sense
the deep darkness it brings to some,
And to others a joyful sleep as it comes.

To some it's the time to be back at reality,
To some it's few hours away from actuality.
To some it's time to struggle hard,
For some it's just another night of dark.

To some it's relief,
To some it intensifies the pain so deep.

So I Ask the night

To feel just for once..
What a few hours could ravel with darkness
That long shiny days couldn't reveal with sun.

सोए हुए मुद्दातें हो गई।

भागते हुए तो ज़माना देखा है,
ठहरे हुए काई शामें हो गई।

दिन बीते , रात चढ़े ना जाने कब ये वक़्त कटा
लेकिन जिए हुए एक जिंदगानी हो गई।।

मंज़िल गुमराह है,
रास्ता बिखरा हुआ है,
शोर सुनसान है,
बेपरवाह या गुम
शायाद यही जिंदगानी का नाम है।
