Bhut khubsurat hain lamho ki wo kitab,
Jisme ache bure pal,
Sab mil kar sath me rehte hain.
Agle pane ki kahani hogi kuch aur,
Par apne khud ke kone me piroye lafzo
Me khush rehte hain.
Kya unhe wo jigyasa nahi hoti.
Aakhir hain kya is kitab me.
Kal jo dost the, jinse roz milte hain.
Aj wo hain kaha, yahi paas ya kahi door.
Koi galti humse to nahi huyi na.
Ek nayi aadat shuru ki thi,
Kab tak nibhaya gaya us waade ko,
Kya suraj roz dikha, kya barish ne is saal phir aane me der ki.
Ye jo beetein lamhein hain is kitab me.
Kya unhe pata hain ki agle din ke panne par ek muskurahat aayi bhi?
Kitne pyari hain ye lamho ki kitab, sabke liye barabar ki jagah bana leti hain.
Bus hum hain jo kuch badal nahi paate.
Jab mann kiya, purani yaad khol li.
Tuti huyi hi sahi, kuch ehsas wapas ji li.
Dekho ek aur saal beet gaya.
Ek nayi lamho ki kitab bann gayi.
Khubsurat to ye kitab bhi hogi, qki inke panno ne mil kar sath me rehna sikh liya hain.

Do you think time has feelings?
With all the continuous ticking,
Is he trying to be fit,
Or stuck in a mundane routine.
Watching us past it by,
Millions of minutes just wasted by.
Do you think time has feelings?
We certainly made it's importance clear in our lives,
The proverbs and poems can shout it out loud.
But does he cares for any of it.
All the accolades given to it.
Watching us forget each said line,
Millions of minutes just wasted by.
Do you think time has feelings?
Maybe there are butterflies in the dial,
When the hands meet,
Maybe it feels only agony,
Each meet being spaced evenly.
How funny to join space with time,
Millions of minutes just past by.
Do you think time has feelings?
And we it's endless Netflix,
Maybe when we are loosing our calm,
All it does is chill,
Watching
Millions of minutes just past by.

My Swing

In my childhood, I had a swing,
A simple wooden plank,
Hung with heavy iron chains.
Could carry a load of 10,
Be it children, women or fatty men.
With time we came to know each other well,
I could jump off it while being in air,
With a surety that I'll land on ground always safe.
Not like this old me, taking each step with so much stress.
I had my phone with no internal storage,
Waiting for my current favourites to repeat on FM.
But I had a jam with my FM man,
Not like today where I get a list of songs on loop by these smart apps.
Me and my music on my Swing.
Would sway with air,
With so little care.
I wish I could go back in time.
Sing each song aloud not caring to be on/off of tune.
I wish I could back in time.
To my simple wooden swing,
Always there to cheer me up
And calm my mind.

The night is awake
Awake are it's protectors.
The silent watchers,
The paced wanderers.
Holding a pleasant smile,
Perhaps a lost
Grim reaper.
With a smile you say,
How dare he?
The night is awake and dark,
Dark is what he should be.
Recording mundane routines,
Charting upto the day dweller's
Last moment.
Perhaps the grim reaper wants a leave,
Leave behind the gloomy trees,
Walk past a beach shining with moon beams.
Alas! The night is awake and cold,
Cold is the water of sea.
Ready to sink every dream.
You my dreamer might sleep well in
your shelter.
But the night is awake and harsh,
Harsh should be his smile
Habitually crooked and also bitter now.

Ek kagaz ki kasti,
Ek behta jharna,
Milne to bekarar.
Ye jante huye bhi,
Ki kasti ki maut basti hain,
Us jharne ki dhar ke pass.
Kaisi hain ye chahatein,
Bina kisi manzil ke,
Yuhi har gali me bhatak rahe hain,
Do bezuban saaye.
Kaisi hain ye chahatein,
Kehne ko hain kitni baatein,
Par juban itni alag,
Ki lafz kam pad jate hain.
Kaisi hain ye chahatein,
Sath hone ki chah,
Sath marne ki chah,
Par itne alag dhal.
Ek kagaz ki kasti,
Jo Behati hain ek nadi me,
Tadapti akeli,
Sirf us jharne ki yaad me.

A sunken ship,
With a treasured chest,
Closed shut under the sea's duress.
Feeling wrecked yet aware
Surrounded by a million sea creatures
Staring at it with wandering eyes.
A massive giant of wooden hulls,
An alien to their sight
Trapped in their native greens.
A sunken ship
Abandoned by its sailor deck,
Still holding their secrets in place.
Can you relate to it little soldier,
With a heart full of undisclosed pages,
Torn out of different experiences.
Struggling to stay intact,
Within the pressure of air around
Getting heavy by the clock.
Just breathe little soldier,
You know the ship will stay,
Through every change of course,
The water takes.

I am going to be your
Peter Kevinsky,
And you can be my
Lara Jean.
One day
We can be in a hot tub
And have a sex tape made,
Even when we did
not have sex.
Which gets uploaded
And I rush to
call my younger brother
To make it PG-13
again.
You can be so dense,
But it's better
To let the emotions out,
Rather then keeping them
in love letters.
It may be something,
anything or even
nothing
But it's not whatever.

My kind of love is like
A journey,
Planning to cherish every milestone in between,
Yet daydreaming to jump out of the timelines.
Picking up your habits,
A random start,
An unconscious routine now.
Learning your culture,
A deep insight,
Being a non believer.
Exploring with you,
Everything a place has to offer,
And still more.
Fighting with you,
Only to realize,
We draw same conclusions.
Desiring you,
Not for the body,
But the magic that we are.
Complaining with you,
This distance and time,
A stuck numerical between us.
Planning surprises for you,
With such hardship,
Keeping them from you.
Laughing with you,
All wrong timings,
Our perfect weird moments.
Listening to songs you dedicate,
Smiling a bit broader,
With each repeat loop.
My kind of love darling is like,
Being your petunia,
In a garden of roses,
Just yours to understand.

Rushing ecstasy
Intensive flow
Rising high
Crashing low
Raging apathy
Falling apart
Chaotic outbreak
Back to the start
Oh the life of emotions,
Strong willed
Fragile hope
Hidden profiles
Exposed gaps
Loud nightmares
Elementary laughs
Meticulous plans
Yet back to start

Let's fly away love,
To a city unknown
And make a home there.
Just for weeks.
With a garden of beauty,
And furniture of comfort.
Let's make the space
Just our known universe.
Let's fly away love,
To the next destination,
A little smaller city now,
Where every person
Cheerfully recognises other.
Every lane leading to another.
Let's roam around our hands tied,
Taking in the homely air.
Let's fly away love.
You know we cannot stay here for long,
That's the perdition we were blessed with all along
But it does not somber me to move,
As each step away from world's view,
Is a step closer to
You.
