It's full of green and lush
To celebrate our growth and renewal

Imagine the sun sinking
and dim turns to dark.
The silence that surrounds you,
the shadows that make their mark.
You wander around aimlessly,
too much time can be total hell.
Your heart hardened from waiting,
breaks with the bong of the clock's bell.
The clouds, they mask the moonlight,
The mirror, it mimics your pain.
You sit and sigh and close your eyes
and hear the repetition of the rain.

Accepting to marry itself is a big step
Leaving everything behind
Moving into another person's life
Missing their current life

Choices to choose is not given
Think about it

A caterpillar eats nd eats,
Forming a cocoon,
Turning into a beautiful butterfly,
Expectations from a girl,

The girl is given choices,
On education, career, dresses,
Toys except one,
Why is it, is it because of societal pressures or lack of confidence on descions taken by kids,

Did we atleast once think,
How the caterpillar struggles,
Struggles are ignored.
