Wings Encaged:
Golden cages will never be called home,
Chains of wounds still bind the soul.
A gilded prison can’t make one whole.
Burning lands are never a safer zone,
Drought and doubt carry seeds of hope
That are never sown.
Smoke fills the air, choking with despair,
For a home is not where riches dwell—
It’s where your spirit feels compelled:
To rise, to grow, to truly be,
Unbound, unburned, entirely free.
And the heart yearns for a place of its own.

A boy may peek through the window's veil,
But only a man walks through the door,
To meet his woman, proud and pale,
Omits his verses, never being astray.
His path is clear, his heart aligned,
With dreams of love and plans entwined,
In the shadows past and futures bright,
He steps with purpose into the light.
No longer lost in youthful play,
He journeys on with steady grace,
In his eyes, a guiding place,

میں تیرے جدا ہونے سے پہلے تجھ سے خود دور جا رہی ہوں
کہیں کچھ ادھورا پھر چھوڑ جا رہی ہوں
نہیں تھا جو میرا اُسے وہیں کا کر جا رہی ہوں
ساتھ ٹھہری تو ہوں تیرے پر ساتھی تجھے ڈھونڈ کہاں پا رہی ہوں
جیسکا عہد کیا ہی نہیں وہ نبھا رہی ہوں
حیف تو نہیں تجھے کہ میں تیری میری ہی داستان بیان کر رہی ہوں
نیا کردار نہیں کوئی یہاں، بس گزرا دور دورا رہی ہوں
بدگمان نہیں میں تجھ سے، بس تیرا مصنوعی گمان اپنے خیال سے ہٹا رہی ہوں
تذکرہ کیا تھا جس کا، اس کی حقیقت کو اب غیر معین تسلیم کر رہی ہوں

تلاش میں تیری میں لاپتہ ہوا خود
روشن کیے جو چراغ سارے بوجھ گئے میرے
اے خُدا یے جو طوفان تونے بھیجا ، کیا تَنَزُّل سے تو آزماتا ہے میرا ایمان بتا نہ کچھ¿!
