उसके इंतज़ार में आँखें बिछाए
हर बार अपनी क़िस्मत से लड़ते जाना

आसान है क्या ख़ुद का दर्द भुलाए
दूसरो का हौसला बढ़ाये
सबको सदा प्रेरित करते जाना

हर दिन खोती जा रही हूँ यूँ तुझे समझाने में
अब ना और समझाना है, ना ख़ुद को और सताना है
जो रिश्ता पहले ही टूट चुका उसे और ना निभाना है

कैसे खेल है यह अनोखे
कही ना चाहते हुए भी कुछ रिश्ते निभाने पड़ते है
और कही कुछ रिश्तों का नाम ना होने के कारण
हालातों से समझौता करके उन्हें भुलाने पड़ते हैं
