SEARCH FOR SERENITY

Quiet ironical because why do people equalise peace with silence
I still don't know
So the answer to their question
I've been trying to retort lately,
Is that the silence of the empty room
along with the darkness of dusk, scream intensely
In my ears, whispering that something is
missing out, while you're in your room,
Urging me to become more,
giving myself a chance to bloom
Though whenever I try to meet the world,
Fear of betrayals and cacophony of worldly wars
Always petrify my melancholy soul.
On one hand, the lonely dark walls of my room
Push me to see the world
While my heart knows outside is truly absurd.
So, for an innocent loner, peace is nowhere
Unknowingly, my room takes me at least a bit closer to there.
