Maa durga will arrive yet again,
expecting humanity to persist,
as justice is still awaited.
October has opened it's arms,
let's embrace this opportunity,
to rise beyond our mundane tasks.

Nights make me wonder,
about the moments of past
a random thunderstorm
that night and your call at 3
me in a drowsy state,
you shaking with fear
"i can't sleep, i fear the thunder!"
"Its ok yaar, its the god's drums"
"Lightning being the flash,
he is cleaning the world
with rain and music!"
Consoling her, i made her sleep,
though i was awoke wondering
why she only chose to call me?
Little did i knew she recorded my call,
listening to it the whole night alone.

penanced for her bad karma
Nope, she is a goddess
but, now, an unheard victim!
