कभी, कभी शायद लिखने से भी अभिव्यक्ति नहीं होती।
कभी, कभी मौन ही एक माध्यम है अभिव्यक्ति का।

युद्ध में कुछ लोग मारे जाएंगे,
जो शायद ना ही पुतिन, ना ही जेलेंस्की होंगे ।
कुछ लोग जो अनजान होंगे,
हमारे और आपके तरह आम होंगे।
कुछ लोग जिनकी मृत्यु महज़ गिनती का हिस्सा होगी,
लेकिन उनके घरों के लिए आजीवन त्रासदी होगी।

कुछ चीज़ें, जैसे सदियों तक सच रहती हैं |
और एक दिन, करवट बदलते ही झूठ हो जाती हैं,
ज़िंदगी की अहम सच्चाईयां हैं - ऐसी ही कुछ चीज़ें।

चांद - चंचल और शीतल।
चांद - कभी अधूरा, कभी पूरा।
चांद नज़र बांध देता है।
चांद पूर्ण नहीं है,
फिर भी सबका प्रिय है।
चांद एक सीख है
अपूर्ण होते हुए भी पूर्णता की।

अस्थिर गिलहरी - फुर्तीली और सरपट।
अस्थिर - वक्त की तरह।
भागती रहती जब देखो।
वक्त भी भागता रहता है।
गिलहरी और वक्त शायद सगे हैं।
गिलहरी भाव नहीं देती।
और वक्त आज़ादी नहीं देता।

पत्थर भी पहाड़ जान पड़ता है कभी, कभी,
और मैं सोचती हूं अक्सर,
इतना संघर्ष क्यों है हर मोड़ पर!

संघर्ष उपहारों में बंटते हो जैसे,
और मैं हाथ फैलाए,
कूद कर लोक लेती हूं थोड़ा ज्यादा शायद!

और, यह सोच कर के संघर्ष ही तो मांझता है!
आगे बढ़ती रहती हूं मैं निरंतर!
