Although,I get upset with you on small things,
But remember you are and will be the biggest inspiration in my life.

That day you taught me an important lesson,
when our family had no reason to smile,
when you were suffering emotionally,
still,you kept these aside,
and like all previous years, we celebrated the festival of Diwali with the same vigor.
Since then, I have learned how to find happiness, even in days of darkness.

I have seen you crying, sobbing, and shedding tears
but have also seen you wiping and hiding your tears.

I know it was easy for you to give up,
But you didn't.
You have been strong, or atleast faked it
for the sake of your children.
And see, I guess, it worked,or the formula works,
Or say,
we are happy because you have been keeping a fake smile.

I know you have been through a lot,
But I also know you won't give up that easily.
