When Ranting Unravels

In your eyes, disappointment of you
paid the money for others' coffee and sandwich.
Ranting relieved you to ravel out.

Your stipend wasn't enough to let go,
but holding on to it for you wasn't possible — that I know.
Still, the melancholy in you.
Ranting relieved you to ravel out.

Sunk in hard work to forget,
Yet hits more when distraction isn't enough to roar.
Ranting relieved you to ravel out.

"Can I help you?" I questioned,
And you denied gracefully.
A rendezvous of your friends, by me,
Told them to pay you back immediately.

They laughed,
"Our brother never asks for money; he pays."
A storm stirred within me — "Just pay him back." They did.
Ranting never helped you to relief, so,
I just let my intrusive thought win.

Lights on the street, yet the darkness inside me.
Surrounded by people, yet pampered by loneliness.
A smile on the face, yet tears in the heart.

Silence in the voice box, yet thousands of voices and thoughts in my head.
Streetlights flicker like broken promises,
Each glow highlighting shadows within me, not around me.

I sit among noise,
Yet the loudest thing I hear is my own silence.

People brush by,
Talking of dreams, plans, love —
While I talk to the version of me that only exists when I’m alone.

I laugh, sometimes.
Not because I’m happy —
But because it’s easier than explaining why I’m not.

The city sleeps under nights,
And I…
I stay awake with the chaos of my thoughts,
Pampered by loneliness.

......At Nine.......
On the chaos of the road,
Where I find my lost heart again,
On nine at nine.

Under the moonlight,
And the shadows too, due to clouds.
Even in the crowd, our hearts find each other,
On nine at nine.

After the years, my eyes speak,
Yet my heart felt heard.
My ears cried because of your voice,
On nine at nine.

How you chose this date
To make these stars align.
I wasn't fine until I saw you,
On nine at nine.

Your smile — a fragile bridge trembling under weight —
Once carried all your storms to me.
I lost you like spring loses its first bloom —
Soft, sudden, irreversible —
On nine at nine.

You belong in my poems,
I write you in my novels.
You went ahead in your life,
And I stayed at —
On nine at nine.

Where you go, I follow,
Where you stay, I guard,
Where you break, I rebuild,
And if the world tries to take you?

I'll make sure it regrets ever daring to look in your direction.

In silence admiring you is best decision for me rather than creating chaos for the people who didn't even knew that my love existed for you.

Loneliness is so loyal to me that every friendship fails for it-To prove it's loyalty.

The silence grew like a weed so to....

We just bloom in our own separate gardens.

Abraham Lincoln- which I hate
Even three years ago, I used to be early—
but somehow, you were always there first.
Like you couldn’t even let me
have that one small win.

You asked me 3 questions, you thought I got all of them right....
disbelieved me when I said I got all of them wrong.
Still, you smiled, didn't believe me,
call yourself Abraham Lincoln.
God, how I despised you in that moment—
so sure of me? so proud of yourself.

Then you got a lover,
Oh, you two look perfect, picture-frame perfect.
But you know what?
I still think she deserves better.
She smiles too brightly to be near someone so...
you.

It’s not logical, it’s not fair.
You didn’t even do anything.
But everything you do, feels like a personal offense.

Maybe it's your laugh, maybe it's your certainty, maybe it's just that
you were always too sure of who you were.
And I resented how that made me feel.

I don’t have a reason.
No tragic backstory.
No betrayal carved in memory.
You just exist— and I loathe it.

Oh the colour you love

The night beneath we dance,
ink that write our pages,
the olives on the pizza,
Your suit, so crisp, so fine,
matching the elegance of your mind.
And the dress I wear you adore.

The opal in your index finger,
the love for your Buggati chiron,
untamed on roads with your Jaguar,
speeding through fate,
where our dreams are sown.

The camera which captures us together,
photo of us in your wallet forever,
a hair tie on your hand which is mine
the place where you find peace in MY EYES.

Our hands hugged , you were just admiring them and trying to guess the colour of my nail paint that whether it's blue or green, and I said it's teal. During that moment the grey watch on my hand was filled with several colours and flowers on it.
