Inside a concrete cave

Forgetting what's right, what's wrong;
they intended to have all for their own;

Laboratories emerged fully-blown,
planted cultivated minds well known,
devised cursed toxins for their own;
knowing it would doom the world
for once and all.

Wet markets went out of breath,
that compromised with people's health;
vending meat that drove mankind lose their taste;

Havoc in one part, undisclosed to the rest;
Came as a shock one dawn when news broke for the best;

Now, the world came to a standstill,
wondering how can we fight against the one that kills;
believed WHO would know, chief would guide;
And life shifted completely inside a concrete cave.

In every nook and corner, from places known
and unknown, you receive an opinion about
yourself, your actions and intentions.

All of these feels like you are being examined
everywhere, judgements about you float around
in the society for reasons unknown and most
importantly, unnecessary which scares you
at times and make you adjust yourself in
a SUFFOCATED SHELL.

What feels better now is, you are no longer
seen and what feels worst is you are
absolutely SHATTERED.
